OTHER PROJECTS

Rob has been involved in many projects apart from his solo work and his involvement with GANGgajang.

In 2001,The City Of Perth commissioned Robert to arrange a 30 minute tribal/orchestral version of the song"Nomadsland" (from the Suzannah Suite) for their Centenary of Federation celebrations on Australia Day 2001. The fireworks choreographed to the music for SKYWORKS 2001.

For Australia Day 2002, Rob produced and adapted Yothu Yindi's TREATY for the occasion.

It was while GANGgajang, Yothu Yindi and The Chevelles were waiting to catch a plane to Brazil to meet up with Spy v Spy for a national tour of that country, that it first came to light that Yothu Yindi were missing a guitar player.

Rob stepped in to save the day, performing with both bands for the month long tour.

This has led to further escapades with "The Yothus" including, amongst other things, performing in China and walking the Great Wall.
